ten volts while while cranking is okay ,11.7 is notthe best should be 12.5 in a perfect world. that year vett has a problem with injectors , one grounds out the comp will shut em down causing loads of issues. a set of 17Lb stainless injectors will surprise you.we get ours from a comp. i think in florida 770-888-1662 (john). hope this helps

checked ohms all injectors continuity ranged 15. 5 16 would there still be a chance of grounding and where

checking the ohms wil most likley not give you good info because your meter uses a 9 volt battery sending current through the windings in the injector that is not a true load, try testing ohms to the body of the injector from both pins, a lab scope is the only way i know of to know for sure. what happes is when power and ground is applied to the injector the elec will take the path of least resistence. the windings inside the injector is covered with a coating that brakes down in ethenal . so the answer to your question is yes, keep in mind there was no ethenal in our gas in 1988. hope i have helped
