Good thing this forum is world wide, because In the United States market they were sold only in 2002 thru 2005.... 1,433 Phaetons were sold in 2004, and 820 were sold in 2005 and pulled from North America then. Hopefully somebody will know about your car, I sincerely wish you luck I had none researching it
Hiya...I too have a Phaeton with simular problems...with regard to the boot I've discovered in the bottom segment of the VW badge you can slide it anti- clockwise to 'reveal a keyhole that allows you to unlock the boot with your key but regrettable does not allow to lock the boot by reversing the procedure. All the best...Mike Willis 07711486579
battery control module ? management controller . probably . my mechanic just showed me with two meters , one on each battery , engine running . my starter battery charges intermittently , so need new one . its basically a very smart relay . not cheap . but where to source one ? you tell me . new only , not used.
