2015 Ram with 39k would not start until jumped. Batter and alternator tested fine. Dealership codes showed some sort of low voltage. However, 6 months ago the dash randomly started displaying "service shifter required" and would not switch out of 1st gear. Hundreds of known problems over the net indicating the gear knob shifter had recall issues and close to litigation. Ram said they could not detect and sent me on my way needless to say the issue has not reoccured.

Any corrosion at the battery cables? If so get them cleaned up.

I am having the same issue on my 2014 Ram with 44k miles. No corrosion on my battery terminals.... just started doing it a week ago..... once it started getting real cold.
