2019 Acura ILX

A ton has changed in the 2019 model. Not only are they making a lot of changes but they are also dropping the price by a couple thousand depending on the model. The list of changes include hut not limited to: the new diamond pentagon grille, moving the license plate down to the bumper, more aggressive styling and 50% of the models will be A-Spec editions. Which means they will be upgraded seats, more comfortable, sportier design Alcantara leather with ultra suede inserts, contrast or piped stitching to match the other models. Technology wise they will be more in line with the rest of the brand including standard apple car play and Android auto, els studio sound system, standard Acura Watch Package on all models. Which if you haven't used before I highly suggest going on a test drive and having a salesman demo how it works. Absolutely incredible that the car can essentially drive itself on the highway and apply emergency braking if someone jumps out in front of you. All things said, I think Acura nailed this model upgrade precisely how they should have. With the upgrades and the price drop it'll be just like the 2019 RDX. Best in class, most value, highest safety rating, quiet, sporty, great visibility, longest warranty, lowest cost of ownership. The only thing I'd love to see them do is make a Type - S 300+hp and SH-AWD version to compete with they type R and the M1 etc. Possibly in the mid year refresh I hope?
