my back blinker works but not the front

1989 truck back blinker works not the front replace bulbs still nothing

Did you use bulb grease on the new bulb? Check the contact points in the bulb socket for corrosion(green looking film) Use a multi meter to test the bulb socket for power and ground. If none found test the wires going into the back of the socket too. If you have both there then the socket is bad. These tend to go bad with age.
