Fuel leaking out of a part that I can't identify!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1991 Mazda b2200 that has started leaking out of a part that I cannot
seem it identify.  It's a manual transmission, and this part is on the firewall
side of the motor, close to the carb, and seemingly attaches to the block.  I
just need to figure out the darn name of the thing so I can replace it....thanks
all!

The picture is rotated counter clockwise by 90 degrees, the two lines with the brass looking fittings are fuel lines

I wondered that, myself, but when I looked up a fuel pump at auto zone, it didn't look anything like this part.... Also, I'm not seeing any 12v power goin to this part..... Am I hearing that the fuel pump is (a) not in the fuel tank and (b) vacuum driven? Thanks for the help!

Well I'll be darned, I guess there were 2 types of fuel pumps and I only saw the 12v ones.... I saw the part in a couple breakouts that looked like the one I needed (second pic down bottom left http://www.mazdatrucking.com/B22 00/Vacuum.html) but no sites had a definition for it.... You saved me some serious time tennisshoes! Thanks so much!
