Shipping a car is not cheap. I suppose it all depends on the deal you get, whether they'll ship it to you at your cost or theirs. FYI when you register an out of state car, you'll often have to get a VIN inspection done. Personally, unless this is a rare or hard to find car, I'd shop locally. If you have problems with the car, good luck dealing with an out-of-state seller. (your state's Attorney General - which covers scam dealers - will be no help to you if you have to take legal action against another state's resident.)
