How lond do these engines last, Mine is Blowen up.

I have approx 60,000 miles on the car and the rod bearings went out and of coarse the crank is ruined and the connecting rods, The oil was full, maybe the oil pump went bad,,Dont know, But I do need a engine for my car.

60,000 is maintained correctly is WAY to soon. And a new short block is going to be the best way to go.

these last 250k plus. I have owned 3 of them. The engines are rock solid. Just change the oil and timing belt as suggested. Timing belt every 60k and oil every 3-5k depending on oil quality.
