please help my mazda mpv

im having a prob with the van running limp it will not rev up past 2300 rpms it has no check engine light on to check a code it idels great and even drives till u get to 2300 rpms and then the rpms drop like if it was red lineing ive done changed the MAF and it did not help can some one please help me

i had similar problem with a toyota, turned out the spark plugs got messed up, you could try that. Also even if you changed the MAF if there is any type of vacumm leak it could cause that problem. there cant be any air leaking out after the MAF. goodluck

try a tune up first.its fairly cheap. spark plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, 02 sensor. if its still doing it you mau want to check for suel issues like a plugged filter or a bad fuel pump
