do you have ant idea how mus=ch a coil cost and are?

went to auo parts store they only sellin sets 250.00 so i changed the coil from # 2 to back of engine cyl and replaced plugs still have the missfire on last cyl so i now i need the coil going to look at around my miata is a 97 with only 51k

not sure my son said it just needed one coil moved the bad coil from # 2 cyl to back of engine and changed all 4 plugs.

follow up my son said there is one pack for 2 plugs
There should be 2 coils but both part of 1 assembly on a Mk1, the coils do go faulty, I have a Mk 2.5 2001 mod el with 2 coils sat on the top of the engine & get very hot, both have had to be replaced. When you think about it the coil pack is probably one of the most stressed parts of the engine.
