setting the timing

If it's old enough to have a distributor, the timing marks are on the crank balancer and timing belt cover. If not distributor, the timing is set by the ECU automatically. You'd have to crack the ECU's code in order to change that. Good luck!

@Richard -look at the fact that they put timing (correct); not timeing. That eliminates the language issue.....What d.i.y. would ask "setting the timing" without explaining what they were having an issue with ?.....just my opinion
