dude just buy some coilovers, the megan streets are priced very well and ive heard nothing but good things about them. the adjustability of coilovers always wins out over dampers(shocks) and springs. i have Tein HA coils on my 92 coupe and love them but im ready to upgrade to something even stiffer like the Tein super DRIFT sideways master coils with the EDFC .

Just like anything else you get what you pay for. I currently have the tokico gas shocks on my s14 and there ok. Its the next thing im upgrading tho and like he said above the megan coilovers are reasonably priced. Instead of like $400 for the tokicos the megans are gonna run ya closer to $900 but are well worth it if you have the money. There are cheaper ones like the Godspeed Type-SS for $500 but its not worth it in my book. Maybe look into the Godspeed Type-RS they dont look bad for closer to $700.

Tokico is alright for entry level its better then stock lol Id go with Tein like ^^^ that guy or Bilstein.

if you plan on drifting and goin cheap, coils are the way to go, even the cheap ebay coilovers are prolly better then gas shocks
