step one for me is to keep it clean wash and wax, engine bay clean, interior spotless, i have a 96 maxima and i get comments on how clean and good looking it is and its just a GLE with window tint from there its all up to you but a clean car is a good looking car. if its dirty and has a sick body kit you are not going to get comments because nobody wants to get near a dirty car
