MY TAIL IS OUT, HOW DO I CHANGE OUT THE BULB?

You should be able to gain acess to the bulb through the trunk. You can also refer to your owners manual.

You can access the bulb by removing the plastic pieces that make up your cargo net. pull back the "carpet" and you should see some screws and more plastic pieces pull them out and there are two unseen plastic pieces between the tail light and the wall. you can now pull on the tail light till it pops out of place. from there learn which bulb isn't working and twist the nob of the bulb you need to replace. change out the bulb and put it all back. Putting the tail light back into place can be a bit tricky. Make sure it pops into place other wise you'll have a tail light.

It will also depend on what year your altima is. my anwser was for a 2004. which is similar to the 2002-2004 models when it comes to tail lights.
