how do i inquire about cars you list that are currently out of state

First, be aware that there have been complaints on this site of people getting told one price online, only to travel hours to see the car and finalize a deal and be told a different price in person. So keep that in mind when dealing with an out-of-state dealer. Too many dealers will tell you one thing online, and something else in person. You deal with an out-of-state dealer the same as you would one local to you, only you have the onus of a long-distance travel to see and finalize deal in person, to pick up tags from another state's title bureau and to drive it back, hopefully without incident. Unless you're the really trusting type and plan on buying it sight-unseen and having it shipped to you via a carrier, which can add several hundred to the price tag.
