4l60e swap with 4l60e

Will a 03' 4l60e out of a tahoe swap
out right in my 98' k1500 4l60e

I would check input shaft length as that changed when the LS was introduced in 98, make sure both of yours are the same (and 30 spline). They do make an adapter plate for 4l60es that have different input shaft lengths to allow them to swap. I would also verify you don't have or need a 4l65e or 4l70e as those use the same case. Your VIN will identify what you have, there's also a sticker on top of tranny stating what it is. All 4l60e's have the same gear ratios so as long as it can bolt up (with or without an adapter plate) then it would work.
