2006,07 Rendezvous, stabilitrak standard,option?

stabilitrak available on 2007, standard or option?read contradicting reports, some say it is a "standard" feature, others state it is optional, GMC stated all of their vehicles, including rendezvous were going to have stability control starting 2007 models, but when I check VIN # on the 2007, it doesnt mention anything about having stabilitrak on 2007 as promised by Buick[GMC]. Anybody knows how to tell if a 2007 or 2006 rendezvous has it?

Generally all there vehicles hav stability control. However stabilitrac is on AWD models only so if you have 2WD it wont have stabilitrac

Elaine- if you e-mail me at ricks@millsauto. com with the VIN number (17 digits, located on dr. side front windshield corner) I can look it up for you and give you a definite answer. If it has it, it will have a button to shut it off- try holding your trac off button down for 10 seconds and see if a dash light comes on in yellow with a car with squiggly lines behind it- if it does, then you have stability control. you have to be able to shut it off in case you get stuck and need to rock the car out- stablilty control won't let you do that.
