Thanks tennisshoes. The car has not been lowered. This is a common problem with
Avalon 2013-15 (after that I am not sure).
I want to change the rims to 16" and use 215/60/r16 for tires to have higher profile and
hopefully alleviate this issue. The tire diameter will be very near to existing tire and there
will be no problem from that point of view. However, the rim inside diameter will be 2"
smaller. As far as I know, 16" rims are used for Camry but it seems that the caliper of
Avalon is bigger than Camry that will reduce the gap between caliper and rim.
