The diagnosis usually starts with a Battery Test. A Digital Volt meter is then used for further diagnosis. Other than that...about all you can do is to try a PROPERLY executed Jump Start. Careful now,.....find someone who knows how to do this correctly....big $$$$ repairs can result if mistakes are made. Let us know result.

yes. as far as the power outage goes it was simply the cable had cracked at the hot side. as far as the running part goes. i installed a new egr soliniod a new knock sensor and a new e.c.t. sensor and the improvment was vast. still has a lil stall at take off sometimes but i think its anexhaust or intake gasket leak issue

Ok...good. have you considered checking or changing the gas filter? Curious...how many miles on this vehicle?

HMM GOOD THOUGHT. I HAD NOT YET. THE CAR HAS 220000 ON IT SO ALL IN ALL ITS ACTUALLY IN GOOD SHAPE. I MEAN FOR WHAT IT IS

yes, replaced e.c.u and problem solved. i never seen one just go out like that before though. im hoping that there is not a bad ground or a short some were in the wiring that will cause this to repeat again. but for now all is well. appreciate the feedback
