If you want to donate a car try your favorite charity.
If it runs and drives ok, find a random person/family in need and give it to them. The donation idea is nice, but giving a car directly to a family in need is much more beneficial than a charity that will resell the car and keep most of the $$ for 'administrative' expenses.
