Whats wrong with my toyota celicas engine?

it constantly stops, overheats, makes funny noises, and the engine light always comes on.

there could be a 100 different things, but I would take it in to get it scanned for fault codes, as it could be in need of a tune-up/stuck thermostat to in need of a head gasket/engine over-haul

I agree,but you should have your shop look at it soon.If you keep driving you can blow your head and be dishing out $$$$$

don't let it overheat! get it checked and if you can't replace the head gasket soon look into a new engine. you can get good second hand and recon engines for fairly cheap with warranty too
