How can I fix it? My car doesn't go any faster then 40 n rpm wouldn't drop?

Did an oil change but the guy who did it didn't tight the filter so I lost it driving to work.when I got home n notice the
filter was missing . The guy put back the oil engine oil cuz all my oil was gone.after I drove to store to get some oil
but  my car was acting funny it would not go in gear . I can only go 30/40 miles n the Rpm wouldn't drop . And my
speed wouldn't go any higher then 40? What is wrong with my car help.

You probably have major engine damage, especially to the lower end, crankshaft bearings, most everything. Go back to where you had the oil changed post haste, tell them, then contact the corporate office if it was a chain. They are responsible, will probably deny it, but you probably have a big hassle on your hands, may need a lawyer. Good luck
