problem with 1995 wiring harness

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car quit after normal start up and driving one block. Not battery, not alternator, not plugs. Mechanic says 2 wires touching, short in wiring  harness.

did he physically take you by your hand and show you were the wires were shorted,or you took him on his word.that's gonna be your delima.is there a check engine light on,did you have gas,were the battery cables tight,does the motor cranck no start.check all your fusesfind the ones burnt replace them with same.find out what wires and maybe i can help
