what kind of engine oil should i use for servicing?

The owner's manual has the recommend oil viscosity to use in your engine. Do some research on the Web as to the type of oils there are, what they are designed for, etc. You do not mention miles,or year, of your vehicle and those are factors to consider as well. Any shop, auto parts can be of further specific assistance with this information. Oil is critical to temperature control as well is lubrication. Far too many people do not change it as recommended causing premature failure of vital components due to oil breakdown or the oil can thicken up to the point of turning like a glue type material.
