what engine?

it is loads of fun but can be quite scary sometimes as there no traction. but that just makes it even more fun lol.
If you want a really fun car, get a 90s v8 or supercharged v6 Thunderbird. Hell, they'll run with the mustangs and camaros and they are even more fun to drive
Try a early 2000's Ford Mustang SVT Cobra with a 5.4L V8/supercharged.
Mustangs are quite fun to drive. I have both a 65 and a 96 both of which are 6 cylinder engines. To be completely honest if I had to choose one as being the most fun it would have to be the 65 with its 200 straight 6. They react much better than the newer v6s.
I own a 97 Mustang Cobra Convertible. It has the 32valve 4.6L V8. It gets great gas mileage, and is very nice to drive. It isn't the fastest thing in the world, but that's fine by me. There is quite a bit of "seat of the pants" speed in it.
go for the 2003 mustang svt cobra, its a wild ride and is called the terminator for good reason
what SVT vehicle other than the Lightning had a supercharged 5.4, unless you built it yourself, which if you did major props man
I agree I just got a 97 Thunderbird V8 with the sport package. ITS HELL ON WHEELS
it was the 03 to 04 SVT cobras. those are also the only mustangs that came with IRS. they are the mustang that everyone wants
they have the 4.6 DOHC with the Eaton, the only cobra to come off the line wiht the 5.4 in it was the 2000 Cobra R, and that was naturally aspirated

Well, if you like driving T-Birds, then you should like Fox-Body 'Stangs since they have the same chassis. Nearly all of the drivetrain, suspension, and chassis is the same since the T-Bird is actually a Fox chassis as well. Yeah, traction is an issue and they are very prone to oversteer, but there are many upgrades to fix that (if you really want to), or leave it that way and have even more fun! '03-'04 Cobra is not the only IRS 'Stang. The '93 Cobra R had IRS, as well, which means there are options for any Fox-Body. If you can scrape the cash, and really want to make a Fox perform, you can swap out the rear and out-corner many of the newer 'Stangs. It really doesn't matter which one you get, though. The Mustang was always designed to be a fun car. My first one was an '88 4-cylinder. Even that "Gutless Wonder" was fun to drive, smoked the tires, and did great doughnuts! You can pick them up cheap (Fox-Body 5.0 in great shape $5,000 or so), put another $5-10 into it, and have a sweet car that will demolish most of the competition for less than the price of a Kia! What's not fun about that?
nope. what are you going to say next, they had a solid rear axle? they had an almost exact copy of the Independent Rear Suspension that the MN12 Thunderbirds had.
i have an old 77 cobra thats got some minor motor work and it is def a fun car to drive, especially with the old school 4 speed. but if it is wet watch out, the ass end will swing out so easy with a tap of the gas.
