is there a major difference in cost of insuring a mustang gt over a v6?? does it double or triple or really skyrocket??

dontknow your age, but i have a nefue? who was going to git a 06 gt insurance on him age 23 great driving record,2300 every 6 mounths.so i would say skyrocket.

Depends a lot on age, location in the country, etc., as Papa has suggested.

Going from 4 or 6 cylinder to a V-8 , makes a huge hit on your pocket book . The cost to insure goes up more if you have a Saleen , or Shelby !!

insurance on my brothers 07 gt is 1200 every 6 months for collision he is 21

It shouldn't be. I have my insured, and the agent said that since it's a sports car anyways it would cost at or a little more than a v6.

im 17 and i have a perfect driving record and i drive a 1999 v6 red conv. and for full coverage i pay 1200 per year. for that same model gt it wld be 2100...they said if i were to even get a ticket they wld drop me

i just insured an 06 v6 con and it cost for full coverage is 3300 a yearand they said that i would pay 1500 more for a v8 and i have a clean record
