3M weatherstrip adhesive is just what it says, weatherstrip adhesive. It is a contact adhesive that sticks things together. It is not a sealant. 3M weatherstrip adhesive is to be applied following the manufacturer's directions. It must be nearly dry to the touch before putting the parts together. What exactly are you trying to seal?
Has anyone tried that 3 M weatherstripping and did it work
