i have a convertible mrs when i wash the car some of the water get stored in the ducts which kinda bugs me. so how to u guys protect the roof and is it ok driving this car in rain....

go driftin in rain dude haha drivin on 100 mph doesnt let the water stay on ur body!!!! ; )

excuse me...ur answer is totally different from my question i want advise instead of telling me what to do.

if by ducts you mean around the bottom edge of the roof, you may need the drains clearing which means removing the side vents and clearing the drains that go in just behind the doors and out just behind the plastic vent cover. Really good instructions with pictures can be found on owners club sites mr2roc.org or spyderchat.com as for driving in the rain i use mine all year in the uk with lots of rain and no problems. just need to be a bit more careful of the handling in wet weather.
