Question type: General

My V6 2001 Toyota Tacoma is slow starting.  You can turn it on and wait a few secs.
then turn off and wait a few secs. then turn back on and it will crank right up.  Any
suggestions what it could be?

It isn't the starter. It is spinning the engine, but acts like it is not getting the gas. I have already changed the fuel filter.

sound like your fuel pump is losing its pressure when truck is not running, that's why it has a long crank time has to build up pressure again, only fix is to replaced fuel pump
