just want to know how toyota tacomas hold up. Looking to buy a 4 or 6 cyl. Anyone  has owned a tacoma I would apreciate your input.

Tacomas are pretty good trucks my dad owns a 4dr. trd 6cyl and my mom owns a 4cyl 4dr. and we have never had any problems and the resale value is good and tomorrow im going to go pick out my tacoma. We have the 2001-2004 models but im sure the quality is the same if not better for the current generation.

My dad and i are toyota LandCruiser fanatics!!! i have an 04 Tacoma 3.5L V6 with 112550miles. if its a toyota... it will last forever.... it will take some serious abuse, but as long as you change ur oil, shocks, etc... when necessary, i promise you that it will outlast your lifetime.

I have a 2000 4cy 4x4 standard cab tacoma with 245,000 miles on it. It has a manual tranny. Owned it 16 years and knock on wood still hasn't had any major problems. Engine and the rest of the truck for that matter are still solid!
