91 Ford Econoline

Hello,
I am looking at a 91 ford econoline wheelchair accessible van from a private seller to
be purchased for my elderly grandmother.  The van seems to be in very good condition
and I plan on having a mechanic check it over before purchasing however, can anyone
comment on the reliability of these vehicles.  I make a decent amount of money
however, I support my grandmother and mother financially.  Basically I just need a van
that will be able to make a 200-300 mile round trip once or twice a year while putting no
more than 30 miles a month on.  Any info is appreciated.

you can help me ot to,if you want.(LOL).no theses vehicles are usually very well maintained and took very good care of.have your mechaniccheck it out for usual ware and tear. I would suggest puttingmore than 30 miles a month on it.if not put a bottle of stiaibil fule in it on a full tank of gas,then letting it sit the fuel wont go dead.
