depending on which engine (6 or 8 cyl.) it should be in the 16-18 mpg range on the highway and 10-12 mpg in the city, depending on how you drive as well (lead foot, etc.)

Hi Richard ,Thank you for such a prompt reply. I should have given more information when i asked the question. I am thinking of buying a 1989 -150 ford econoline. It has a v6 engine petrol engine with an L.P.G. professional conversion.. The vehicle looks in very good condition.I live in England U.K.as petrol prices are so high i i wanted to be sure of running costs. Any thing else i shold be looking ot for in this vehicle. you will do a little better on LPG, and the bonus is low emissions and longer life for your engine (fewer deposits inside that can accelerate wear). it should be a great choice for you.
