Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took the Expedition on a bit of a drive today, about 200 miles rt, I noticed  a puddle of water under it after I got home. I have moved it a couple times and each time it has water under it, it doesn't seem low in the radiator. its on the passenger side about mid way back, appears to be coming out approx the same place the oil was leaking but it isnt oil and I didnt have the air conditioning on most of the trip. Any ideas?

May be the heater core has small leak,it will leak at the point you said by leaking and coming through the AC drain on passenger side.

Unfourtantly, heater core repair is costly, they have to remove the dash to get to it,but that said go have it checked, may just be a heater hose is bad,

There are two hose,s that go into firewall on passenger side under hood, check them, and keep and eye on you coolant untill you have it checked, good luck with it MarineMom.

This may be as simple as the air conditioner draining when you stop! back off of it and see if it is plain water, oil, anti-freeze or what.

Sounds like the water from your AC drain hose. Next try to determine exactly where (front and side) to make an "X" and then raise the car and see if you see the hose.

I have a 2003 ford expedition and out the blue my check engine light started blinking and when I pulled over and pop the hood I hear like a sizzling noise like it's air or something coming from somewhere under the hood and another I noticed when I try to warm up my truck it cut off sometimes. Do anybody know what could be going on with my truck

You may need to clean your fuel pump. I have an expedition and pour a full bottle 90% isoproyl white alcohol once a month on a half tank of gas. It burns off the gunk in the engine filter & it won't leave a residue like the other cleaners. Hope this helps.

I know this is old, but hoping to see what caused the water leak. Having the same issue with my expedition max.
