If you do not have a dip stick to check the level the tranny may have been sealed for that year. I know the 2003 tranny is sealed as I have one. If you haven't observed a leak, check the fittings for the radiator cooling line, it should not be low. The procedure for adding fluid is long and requires a special tool and a new plug. Check the net, there will be videos all over.
