You should have a card in the owners manual package with the unlock code on it. Also, sometimes, it is in the interior fuse box. It will reset the code to the original and you can reset it to your own code.

Yeah I understand your point however my keys are in the car and don’t have immediate access to all those vehicles manuals. I thought they went with the immediate family
