anti theft light went on in my 1999 ford explorer sport, will not start, anything i can do as so i dont have to take to dealer

dont have an unlock code, its old bought it used only used the key. so does that mean i am totally screwed.

problem is that i only have key to start truck .dont lock my doors because one or the other had been changed at one point years ago before i owned it,

Always make sure that your battery is fully charged and also clean posts and battery terminals sometimes they make faulty contact!!!

The code to unlocking your doors with the key pad is located on the driver's side in the back in a very hard to see location where the lug wrench and jack are it's on that plastic module you will need a flashlight however it's in between that small crack
