If you mean on the fuel rail, the fuel pressure test port-- the schraeder valve that looks very much a tire stem... then yes. It is also a great risk of fire if gas is leaking out. Please do not drive the truck until fixed. Yes, it will lower fuel pressure and cause stalling and loss of power. And an engine fire can overwhelm you before you realize what is happening. I'm not totally sure but it may be like a valve stem, See if you can tightening the stem.

A very SMALL leak at the schrader valve would not cause it to stall in my opinion. It is a fire hazzard and needs immediate repair. Please use a schrader valve that has a viton seal rather than one from a tire. Just buy a valve made for fuel rails. Viton resists gasoline and the valves from tires will rot over time. You might try to carefully tighten the valve first.

Wasn't suggesting a tire valve, tho thanks for pointing out the difference...

@ Rowefast, didn't think you were. A shrader vale in the fuel rail is generally the exact some size as a tire valve, but the seal is usually made of a different material. I am not sure why they made them that way. You can install and remove with the same tool used for tire valves.
