Catalytic converter... if it's bad changing out sensors does nothing.

Wow... a parts change attack! HC is hydrocarbons, It could be the EVAP system which state are you in? let's assume not Cali...Please let us know the name of the "Dianostic shop" Post It. I would check the catalytic converter first! What year f150 and which engine? most run multi HEGO sensors.. with the correct gear this is easy to isolate and correct the cause of the emission. Did they provide a print out of HC Co Nox Co2? How many PPM over is it in HC
I live inc Cali. Name of Diagnostic Shop is AV Auto Clinic. I have a 1989 F150, 4.9 L, 5 speed manual trans. Truck has only one O2 sensor. Yes I have a printout. Max PPM is 96(15 mph, 1586 rpm), GP 305, Meas 489. CO% is Max 0.68 (same mph, rpm), GP 1.98, Meas 8.12. At 25 mph, 2443 rpm, Max PPM 69, GP 255 Meas 321. CO% (at same mph, rpm) Max 0.61, GP 2.17, Meas 7.58
