ford f350 transmission swap

I have a Ford F350 4x4 with a 460 C6.  And want to convert it to a manual 5 speed.  Will the transfer case match up, or do I need to swap the transfer case out also?  Jim

You will need a manual transmission from a 4x4. Also you may or may not have to change the transfer case.

Thank you, I was told the transfer case would fit either. But the source wasn't very reliable. And he's no Ford mechanic.
