Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2003 F250 and when i put it into four wheel drive there is a clunking noise that sounds like it is coming from the transfer case or the U-joints under the skid plate, im not sure if there is any easy way to diagnose what's wrong with it and/or fix it, also is there any common problems with the 4X4 on my truck any advice would be very much welcome
