Clutch adjustments

not sure what you mean , the clutch is engaged till the throwout presses it to dis engage
Adjusting the linkage IS adjusting the clutch. The Clutch pressure plate bolts to the flywheel. No adjustment is possible. "Adjusting" the clutch changes when the pedal engages the clutch so adjusting the linkage is all you can do. What problem are you having? Does it grind when trying to put it in gear or does it slip (engine rev and truck doesn't move)?
Well is there anyone that knows what there talking about on here because there definitely is a adjustment on the clutch itself if you take the inspection plate down you spin the flywheel around till you come to a lever looking thing there be a9/16 bolt above it loosen the bolt and use the lever to adjust the clutch I just wondered if anyone had anything to add to my process
Apparently not and your response will likely not get you much help. Sorry if you did not get the exact answer you were looking for given the vast amount of information in your question. Note the other response asked for additional info. There are videos on YouTube for adjusting the clutch in larger trucks. None of the F-350 wreckers I had in the 80's had an adjustable clutch. Have a nice day!!!
