About a 2004 6.0 diesel motor
There is an 2004 F-350 stack bed truck for
sale for $17,000! It only has 46,000 miles
and is a one owner truck! I have heard bad
things about the motor! Would it be worth
buying or should I avoid it? Your answers
will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The 6.0 is not well regarded, the 7.3 is desirable and the 6.4 is better than the 6.0 but there are emissions issues such as the regeneration cycle which reduces gas mileage and it can damage the engine due to excess fuel in the engine oil.

One last thing - never buy one that has been modified.
With that few miles it's going to five you problems once put in regular use. High pressure oil o rings will start to fail. I'd pass on that one.
