Is your turn signal switch loose at all if that may be it. eBay has them for $30-40 bucks.

I have the same problem with my bird changed the relay and turn signal lever in the steering wheel column and does the same thing. It work fine one moment then makes a buzzing noise when they go out.

my 92 bird signal stopped working and left my head lights stuck on high. I took apart signal arm from colum (easy to do ,3 screws and 2 nuts) the green piece of system comes off 2 screws behind it you will find nickle size blue washer with silver contact electrical tape . If any of that silver tape is gone your signals wont work right at all. gotta hit junk yard for it ,parts store wont sell just that piece.

I have a 2002 Ford Thunderbird with 93k miles. Just recently I have experienced a hard shift between 1st & 2nd Gear. It does it sporadically(Maybe once or twice a day). Has anyone a suggestion on how I would best cover up my electric window motors, as we have a little more rain here in the UK. My 2005 Thunderbird check engine light has been on for months. It has been to shop over and over. They have replaced the battery, changed some sort of sensor, the gas cap is tight and I filled the tank completely and also had the oil changed.
