To get to the thermostat housing you have a few more hoses and items to move out of the way, namely: upper radiator hose bracket, water bypass hose clamp and hose, the AC evaporator liquid line and bracket, the AC suction accumulator/drier line and bracket, then finally the thermostat housing. If you've never replaced a thermostat before this is probably a tougher vehicle to start on, the fee at any shop though should be pretty reasonable, as there really is not that much too it.
