17 TIRES, will NOT fit on your stock wheels. You would need 17 inch WHEELS AND TIRES to have 17 inch tires.

Umm if you all look that is not what he is asking, "195/45/14 and i am looking at 215/45/17." There is no way in the world this would work out, now to make what everyone else is saying a bit more clear. If you wanted to use a 17" rim you would need a 215/35/17 if im looking at this right but now here is the big problem with all of this. your post tire size makes no sense Subaru never ran such a small tire size stock because they always had this car posted as a "kind of off road car." but the real answer is no you can not run a 215/45/17 on your car you will break something.

i have 215/45/17's on my 06 wagon, i actually went as high as 55's on it, traded the continental's for the kumho's

OK you are not getting it, A 195/45/14 to a 215/45/17 is a 4in diff in height from tire to tire, if your telling me you make that change on your car from stock to aftermarket your fucking lying man. Your trans would have blown out every single gear. now if 215/45/17 is your stock size is cool, but your also lying about going to a 55 because again you would have killed your trans the sidewall diff from 45-55 is 2.5in and ya that would break something very fast. next time make sure you have some real facts like that your stock tire size is a 205/55/16 so if you moved to a 17in rim you would be running a 50 side wall, and to run a 45 side wall you would need to have a overall size of 225/45/17 so you would be close to your stock tire size, that is the only safe way to drive, if your running over sized or undersized tires then your playing with the parts on your car.

thats why i took off 55's because they were rubbing on my wheel wells, so i had to rip them out, discount tire thought it would be a reliable replacement, but it actually popped the tire from the side walls, so now i have no wheel wells and i had to roll my fenders

695

That is not the point, there is no way you could run such an oversized tire with out blowing out axles, losing a lot or most of your turning speed, and having your transmission blowing up too. but that 8-9 mph diff in your speedo must be fun.

885

lol your funny, im agreeing with you, and your being arrogant lmao

885

my bad if it didnt sound like i was, lol but yea i was agreeing with you the whole time, the first time i was kinda drunk and the second time i had a hangover, maybe thats why it sounded like i was arguing, but i wasnt lol my bad man

885

lmao, yea no one can be that dumb to try to fit 17 inch tires on 15in rims... thats like having 20in rims with 200mm spacers.... not happening XD

Ok I have 195/65/15 stock tires on my 2013 impreza and I want to put my 17" Yokohamas (they're already on my other set of wheels). Will they fit without rubbing or fucking anything up?

i have an 06 impreza i got 18ich an i have dropped it and still got room to fit 19/20 if i wanted to

I have a 93 impreza L sedan which ran on 13's . took me a few trys but once I figured the best for no rubbing on rear struts with the 17's. I put 205/50 17 since the 205-215 /45's would rub against rear struts. Only thing is tires rub on rear fender if I hit a huge bump since I have stock struts. Believe the off set on mybrims are 45 so a lil less might be better so no rubs on outer part. Hopes this helps

Finally someone with what I was looking for. I have 15's on my 96 outback imp. Found great deal on some drag 17's,& brand new tires for 600$. Glad to hear some actual details on the fit, THX!

I have a 2001 Subaru Impreza and I got 215/50R17 but I think stock is 215/45R17 would they still fit or will they rub??
