Car runing like crap wont rev past 2g

Has been back firing 4 awhile and
runing rich which has got worse
fouling up the spark plugs all 4 then
did a big backfire and strt runing like
it was on 3 cylinders puting away
wouldn't rev past 2hlf g and blow
heaps black smoke ??? What would
cause this? No codes show on
computer its a 96 sti

Plugged up catalytic converter. Jumped timing. Burnt piston/valve. distributor cap wires and rotor. Lots of things. Start there.
Yea catalytic converter has been blockd and cleared b4 so somethng must b causing it ta block up and cnt b burnt valve cuz all 4 plugs r az black az each otha and has coil pack nt distributor it has to b somthng stupid n simple bt i duno wat hav tryd the obvious 1st thngs u wud look at
Could be the 02 sensors are bad. That will couse all kinds of problems.
Hav replaced o2 sensor only thng i cn thnk ov is cam angle sensor to cause all these probs i hav been tld hav nt tryd a new 1 yt bcyz dnt wana waste muny f it nt it bt may hav ta try it bt ne otha places ta strt fixing wud b openly nd very thnkfuly accepted
