Actually that swap would be a lot of problems. Swapping a SOHC engine for a DOHC or the other way around is not a "bolt in" swap which is what most people are looking for.

It is best to use the correct engine when swapping engines. Buying another car would be the best option in my opinion. Installing an incorrect engine for your car will cause it not to pass smog inspection.
