Get it up on a lift and look. You might have just damaged a fascia or air dam and that's rattling, but more likely the strut took the brunt of the hit.
BTW can you describe the "disturbing noise?" Is it like fingernails on a blackboard? The sound of a knife being sharpened? The sound of a gun being cocked behind your head but when you turn around there's nobody there?
When I drive over a bump on the road my car rattles making a hard disturbing noise.
