if you have the #4 reflash your rev limiter should be set at 8600
do you hear a VERY distinct crossover at 5800 RPM? or is it very smooth all the way up
no vtec should crossover at 5200 with the reflash and if you have an aftermarket intake you'll hear and feel it kick in....you might be lucky and have kpro....reach under the passenger side dash under the glove box and feel on the back of the ecu...if there is a usb port back there it should be kpro then i think...i have kpro and thats where i plug in to tune at...im not sure if the reflash has the same thing tho
usb port is K-Pro only reflash has a vtec window from like 4600 to 5200 but it's pretty smooth stock has a switchover point at 5800 and its really noticeable oh,you can also contact hondata, give them your ECU serial number and they'll tell you if they ever modified it. They keep a record of all the ECU's they've worked on and what they did to each ECU
my buddy had the #4 reflash and im pretty sure the high load vtec crossover is 5200, (the lowest rpm vtec will kick in), and then it will kick in nomatter what at 5800 or 6000. somewhere in there
mm im 05-06 so i think our reflashes are different :X so OP, what year is your RSX?
well my buddy who had the reflash had an 02...i have an 04 with kpro
