Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fluid is full, never slips cold.

My guess is the hydraulic operating pressures drop when the fluid is warm and thin.

So could a fluid and filter change fix this and do you have to drop the tranny to do it? ('02 ES)

I would try a fluid change to see if it helps but if it does not you may be looking at a rebuild.
